アメリカでバビーズオーナーのロンさんに会ってきました。今までのバビーズを含め、これからのバビーズのために、アメリカンスピリットをお互いに学びに行ってきました。アメリカの心がわかるレストランについても、アメリカの歴史をふまえて、後々ご案内したいと思います。

ロンさんと１週間ほど毎日一緒に時間を過ごしましたが、より親交が深まった、というよりは
最高のパートナーとして、最初から彼は裏表無く、シンプルにアメリカ料理を愛し、表現したいと思っている人なんだということが改めてわかりました。アナログな、ママの手料理をコンセプトを守っていこうという結論に至りました。バビーズが次のステップにいくための、必要な折り返し地点の旅立ったなぁと思います。テキサス、ルイジアナで見つけたレストランについては後日お伝えします！
追伸：
NYにあるロバートデニーロのレストランで、ロンさんたちと食事をしていたら、
「レオン」以来大好きなナタリー・ポートマンがいました！

I visited Mr. Ron, the owner of Bubby's. We went to the south of the United States to learn "American spirit" and to talk about Bubby's present and the future. I will tell you more details of restaurants we visited later!
We spent about a week, and I would say more like he had been always honest to love American food and express homemade foods which Moms always cook for their family. We have decided to stick to the concept.
I think this trip was such a good one like a turning point for future Bubby's.

I saw Natalie Portman, the actress at the restaurant of Robert De Niro! I like her a lot since I saw "Leon" the movie.
