９月１日からスタートするシンガポールグルメディスカバリーキャンペーン。実は、シンガポールエアさんとシンガポール観光協会さんからお声がけをいただき、一緒にスタートすることになりました。

こんなありがたいお話がいただけたのは、おそらく、シンガポールシーフードリパブリックの成功が実績となったおかげだと思っていますが、日本とシンガポールとの橋渡しの役割になれればいいなと思っています。これからのシンガポールの魅力。それは、今までの先進国とは違う仕組みで動いていることではないでしょうか。つまり、日本やアメリカなどの国としての概念ではなく、まるで一つの大きな民間企業のように、ビジネスに対してすばやく動くのです。歴史があまりないので、自由で、周辺国も入りやすい風土があるからでしょうか。反面、違法に対してはものすごく厳しいですが、安全性が高いという面ではやはり魅力的です。

シンガポールは、今、海外から人をたくさん呼ぶことに力を入れています。F1もその仕掛けの一つですし、次々と新しい観光スポットが出来ていきます。ここまで民間としてしかできないようなことを国全体でしている姿は、斬新であり、あこがれでもあります。そこと一緒に仕事をするということは、とても刺激になりますし、真剣にとりくんでいきたいなと思います。

I think success of Singapore Seafood Republic contributed the chance to cooperate with them, and I hope we will be able to play a role of being like a bridge between Japan and Singapore.
What's attractive point of Singapore? To me, Singapore is totally different from other developed countries speaking of the structure. Singapore is like a big private company since their policies are always decided quickly. Singapore dose not have a long history,
but it means other cultures are easy to enter. On the contrary, the laws are very severe, but it is good to keep the society safe.

Singapore is trying to attract many people from abroad. F1(Grand Pix) is one of the attraction, and new sightseeing attraction is coming out.
Their power is so stimulating that I feel like doing my best to work with Singapore.
