先日、オレゴン州知事にお会いする機会がありました。我々が「オレゴンバーアンドグリル」というレストランを運営しているので、オレゴンの宣伝に役立っているという意味でお気遣いいただき、レセプションにお招きいただきました。
あまりなじみのない方もいらっしゃると思いますが、実はオレゴンは、全米で「住みたい州ナンバーワン」と言われるほど、あこがれの地です。消費税がなく、環境保護を推進しています。その分、もちろん規制もあるので、大変な面もありますが、強い意志を持つ州と言えるでしょう。
食文化にも州のコンセプトが反映されています。旬なものを安全に届け、食材をシンプルに調理して提供します。オレゴンは土や水などの自然がすごくきれいなところで、ワインなどもおいしいので、是非、機会があれば訪れてみてほしい場所です。

I met Mr. Ted Kulongoski, the governor of Oregon at the reception party the other day. It was nice of him to invite me just because our company operates "The Oregon Bar & Grill", a restaurant featuring Oregon.
I guess some people are not familiar with Oregon, but in fact, the State of Oregon is called "The best state for living" in the United States. They have no consumption tax, and they promote preserving nature. Of course, they have some rules, but I think the state has a strong will.
You will see their concept, appreciation of simplicity in their food cultures as well. They love to deliver seasonable vegetables and fish to people. They also love to cook those foods simply. They have good wines because of their clean water and lands. I recommend you to have a chance to visit Oregon at least once in life.
For those who think Oregon is too far to visit, we always welcome to our restaurant. We have Oregon food with fresh ingredients.

実は、銀座のマロニエゲートにシンガポールシーフードリパブリックの２号店がオープンしました！品川の１号店がおかげさまで多くのお客様にお越しいただいておりますが、予約がとれないためにお客様に楽しんでいただけない、、、、という状況を少しは解消できればと思っています。
２つのお店は共にシンガポール料理店ですが、品川の方はホテルの前庭ということもあり、ホテルの雰囲気がありますが、銀座のほうがカジュアルで、もっと女性向きかと思います。味は変わりませんが、メニューや店内の雰囲気は違います。特に特徴的なのは、ランチビュッフェです。皆様にとって、シンガポール料理はなじみがまだあまりないかと思いますが、気軽に楽しんでいただけると思います。
今回は、オープニングに際し、シンガポールのオーナーたちも来日してくれました。

Hi! Sorry that I have not updated for a while since we had been preparing for a new outlet, Singapore Seafood Republic Ginza!
Our first outlet, Singapore Seafood Republic in Shinagawa was difficult to book(fortunately for us, but unfortunately for customers:),
and we hope that our second outlet will help our customers to enjoy our Singapore cuisine.
The first outlet in Shinagawa is in front of a hotel, Hotel Pacific Tokyo, and the atmosphere is a bit sophisticated like a hotel. The second one in Ginza is more casual and it will be enjoyable especially for women. Tastes of our menu are basically the same, but the menus and the interior are different. In Ginza, we serve you buffet for lunch. You will enjoy many variety of Singapore foods more casually.
Our partners visited us at the timing of the grand opening. Please try their authentic cuisine if you have any chance to visit Singapore!

I've started to write a report for the magazine about food business, called "Gekkan Shokudo". I talked about a hot spot for restaurants in Singapore.
